About the studio
One editor. A whole crew's worth of tools.
Stourlight Studio makes short films that help local businesses look as good on screen as the big brands.
Who we are
Local to Suffolk and Essex
Stourlight Studio is based in Sudbury, on the Suffolk and Essex border. We make cinematic films at a price that makes sense for a café, a shop, a venue, a trade or an office. Because we're local, we're happy to meet you in person, see your business and talk it through over a coffee.
Every shot is designed with AI image and video tools, then edited, coloured and finished by hand. You get the polish of a film shoot without the crew, the kit or the waiting.
Alongside client work, the studio makes Ali the Witch, an animated children's series, which is where many of our storytelling techniques are tested first.
